What is the Sprite Sheet Recenter Tool?

This tool automatically detects sprite objects in each frame of a sprite sheet and recenters them within their grid cells. It uses OpenCV contour detection to find each sprite's bounding box and shifts it to the exact center of its frame. Perfect for fixing misaligned sprite sheets used in game development or animations. All processing happens locally in your browser.

How to Use

  1. Upload a sprite sheet image (PNG or WebP with transparent background)
  2. Set the number of rows and columns in your sprite sheet
  3. Verify the grid overlay matches your frame layout
  4. Click "Recenter Frames" to process each frame
  5. Click "Download" to save the recentered sprite sheet
